After many Bangkok residents couldn’t pay their April electricity bills at 7/11 and online it showed zero amount due, finally, new lowered amounts started showing up when checking online or at the MEA SmartLife app.
MEA offered discounts for the bills in April so many Bangkok residents especially those that were late or got their bills after the announcement could not pay their bills. Even I had this issue and in the end, went to the MEA office close to my condo and was told I can pay the bill after the 20th this month.
So as of yesterday, the new lowered amounts have been updating and now you should be able to finally pay your bill with the lower amount.
You can pay at 7/11, Family mart, Tops, banks, or you can download the app and pay with a Visa/Mastercard credit card and see all past bill amounts and how much you used per month.
